Pre-reincarnation
Born Lillian, and had a peaceful life until the demon hoards attacked when she was 15. Not all the demons were good with the demon king's plans to wipe out all of humanity. She formed a pact with one and became a warlock. From there she fought tooth and nail against the demon armies with the magic granted to her by her patron demon.
She had a great many journeys, traveling across the land and helping those she was able. Seeing all the beauty of the lands, and the magnificent fantastic creatures that roamed it. Once she even saw a dragon while climbing a mountain to find a sickly child some rare medicine.
She was always a brash and bold type, so when she was finally about to take on the final boss (the demon king) she made a mistake that lead to her death along with her companions. While she was successful in taking down the demon king, it was a suicide mission.
Post-isekai
Instead of waking up in the afterlife her consciousness flowed into the 17 year old Danielle Black. She regained her memories of this other life during the middle of an exam. At that moment all the studying Danielle had done flew out of her head and was replaced by Lillian's memories and personality.
Needless to say, she didn't get a good grade on that test. She learned about the person Danielle was from teachers and peers, if only because nothing Lillian did seemed to match up with the person that Danielle was. Where Lillian was aggressive and didn't look twice, Danielle was demure and cautious, at least to the people at school.
She's doing her best to keep up the facade, hoping that one day she'll find a way back to her original world. There's only so much disruption this girl's life can take. But it's so much work and she never had to study as a warlock, that's what her patron was for. Now she's looking for some kind of magical way back as well as trying to balance her time as a student.
To her horror, the demon king was reincarnated as well! He's working at her high school as the English teacher and she feels she must keep an eye on the man. If he was dangerous in her world he could be dangerous here as well.
The sheer mundanities of Earth drive her nuts so she's also part of D&D club. Sorry Danielle, Lillian needs this for her if she's also going to do all that studying.
